The case of the Ahmedabad blasts gained more ground on Thursday as four more suspects from the SIMI were arrested.
The blacklist - Abbas Sameja, Naved Kadri, Aiyaz Saiyeed and Javed Ahmed. They were put behind bars as they were connected with the Ahmedabad serial blasts in which 55 people lost their lives. These are their enchanting biographies.
Abbas worked as instructor in a private health club. In 2001, the SIMI had bought his Bhuj house. And Abbas used this money to finance the bomb blasts. He was given preparatory evening coaching classes at one of terrorism’s most prestigious schools – the Halol terror training camp. He was the student at the camp in January 2008 under a fake name.
Naved is glowing alumni of the SIMI. He was reportedly present during the business lunches a.k.a planning meetings for the serial blasts in Juhapura. He played a key role in execution and planning of the serial blasts.
Aiyaz didn’t graduate from a terrorist camp at the top of his class, but turned out to be one of the planters of the bombs in different areas of the Ahmedabad. He planted the bombs mounted on cycles in Naroda Gam and other places on the orders of a man named Qayamuddin, who is still absconding.
The final gentleman who got arrested is Javed, who played one of the most important roles - he procured gas cylinders from Kalupur area of the city that were used to blow up the civil hospitals. He was another member of the gang present at the business lunches in Juhapura.
Below is an image...only an image... of the result of the horrifying blasts.
